Diaper Bank
Our main objective here at Operation INDY Inc. is the collection and distribution of diapers, incontinence briefs, and hygienic products for people of all ages. Of course, babies are the first to come to mind, but our physically challenged and elderly use these items as well. We aim to relieve some of the supply burden on government funded facilities that provide care to individuals with health problems. As well, we offer our services to anyone in the community in need of a few days supply of diapers for their children. Contact us for help or to submit a facility in need of diapers or incontinence briefs.
We Can't Forget Our Pets!
Pet food and Accessories
We accept donations of foods for a plethora of animals and assure they get to pets that need them. Our animal shelters in Indianapolis have become overwhelmed with abandoned and neglected pets, increasing the demand to feed them all. So in essence, the accessories may go to our volunteers’ pets. But rest assured, the food goes to Indianapolis area animal shelters, or to individuals who have taken it upon themselves to allow sanctuary to needy animals.
Community Clean-Up
We get out and about in the warmer months to help clean up the communities we live in. Our members and volunteers are always looking for areas in the city that have become cluttered with trash or illegally dumped items. Id you are aware of such a place, please reach out to us so we can get it on our schedule to be picked up. And please, if you are able, come join us in the revitalization process.
Holiday Assistance
All year, Operation INDY collects items for children of all ages to be redistributed during the days leading to the Holiday season. Contact us if you or a loved one could use a little help this upcoming holiday season. Or if you would like to donate items to support this drive. THANK YOU!
Home Owner Maintenance Assistance
Many home owners in our communities are unfortunately living on a fixed income each month. When a budget is a little tighter than we would like it to be, it can be hard to keep up with certain home repairs that allow the homes' structure to remain free of health and safety hazards.
